  Bought my hubby a anime dvd the other day called tekkonkinkreet. I thought I’d treat him cause he always buys me things. We both really liked it I thought the animation was really good. It’s about two brothers black and white who live in Treasure Town doing battle with the Yakuza it’s quite brutal in parts too. The films based on the manga by Taiyo Matsumoto.

  

• Negima Season 2

  I was looking to see if there was any dvd’s worth getting and I noticed that negima season 2 was out to buy it comes in two sets with episodes 1-13 in one and 14-to 26 in the other. I really want both at once but I think that I’ll only be able to get one cause there £34 each. I’ll have to ask hubby if he will get it for me I really love that anime one of my favorites

  Here is a trailer for the new Queen’s Blade anime it might be a while before I can watch gotta wait until it’s available on dvd and that’s gonna be a while. It looks really good worth a watch me thinks : ) My hubby want’s to see it also but I dont think he wants to watch it for the story you will see what I mean from the trailer : )

• Japan Season

  Me and my hubby been watching Japan season on bbc 4. There’s been some really good shows I really liked the one about a 15 year old girl learning to be a Geisha in Kyoto. There was also a program about fishing in Japan which I found really interesting cause of my love of fishing. I watched Spirited Away which was on last weekend and there is also a program on that I missed but gonna watch the repeat that’s on tonight at 10pm it’s about a former businessman Naoki and his family who are struggling to get by after the economic crash of the early nineties. • New Anime Shows

  I thought that I would have a look to see if there were any new anime shows out lately. I’ve found out that there’s some really great new shows coming out, there’s a lot of shows coming out that I must get like to heart, fullmetal alchemist and to love ru. I have the first series of to heart still need to finish watching it though. My hubby has some of the first series of fullmetal alchemist but never managed to get the rest of the dvds to the series, Its a really great anime very sad in parts really must watch it all. • Anime News – Wallflower

  Just found out that wallflower box set 2 is out to buy, I so wanna get it this month but I’ve still got to get the last dvd to the first box set. I Only can afford one thing this month me so poor so i think that I will just finish off the first series. Cant wait to see the second series It’s one of my favorite anime’s.

  Recently me and my hubby have been watching a new anime called Sekirei so far its been really good were up to episode 6 It reminds me a little of ???? each of the sekirei have to have a master called an ashikabi for them to fight to there true abilitys and from what I can see to stop them growing ill and dying? My favourite character so far has to be Musubi who is Minato’s sekirei who seems a bit daft but very caring of Minato so far it seems like a good laugh maybe not the most original anime on earth but is worth a watch anyway.

• Death Note Films

  Last Saturday me and my hubby watched the first death note film with the second one being shown this Saturday which were gonna watch, I thought the first film was really good although its a bit different to the anime light seems much more evil but there is still a lot of stuff taken from the anime. Were still waiting for the second series of the anime to be released so the second film might spoil the ending a little but oh well

• Japan

  I’ve been learning some more kanji today got to 172. My hubby’s way ahead of me though he’s learning sentences now. I think I’m picking it up though when I see labels, posters ect I recognise quite a bit of kanji and some hiragana. Just listening to japanese music as I write this I think it helps with the learning. We have a giant poster at home with all the kanji on it and i’m marking off the one’s that I’ve done so far It’s also good to see it everyday cause you remember them better and its great motivation

  We’ve finally started to save for japan It’s gonna take a few years to save as we want to spend atleast a year there. Hopefully when we go my hubby might get a full time job and then we could live there as its been both our dream for a long time now although I’m scared stiff about getting on a plane I’ve never been on one in my life but when it comes around to it I think I’d cope. I really want to travel so it’s something I would have to get used to or It would get in the way of what I want to do in life a few other places I’d love to visit are China, America and hawaii. I can’t wait to go to Japan I love the culture the food I want to get away and experience new things meet new people you get tired of doing the same old thing over and over, I believe you have to have goals In life and hopefully I might reach some of mine and the ones I want with my hubby
